Where are you from originally?
Originally from the North East of England.
How long have you been a photographer?
7 years working as a freelance photographer but studied photography previous to that.
What other kinds of photography do you like to do?
How would you describe your photography style? ( e.g. Romantic, modern, clean, vintage, etc )
Overall, I approach my work from a lifestyle perspective which means it's mostly candid but with touches of some direction and styling, in order to create the most beautiful images possible.
How do you work on the day?
On the wedding day, I like to capture a mixture of candid documentary style shots and some styled set up shots.
Have you been published anywhere in magazines or online blogs?
Are there any parts of the day you especially like photographing?
I adore capturing details; flowers, shoes, the dress, cufflinks and everything in between that makes the wedding unique to the couple. And then the speeches are probably my absolute favourite time for capturing candids, people are usually unaware so these images aren’t posed and this is when they express their truest emotions, laughter, happiness, sadness and just pure love for the couple.
How much post production do you do? What is your style?
I don’t like over edited images so I’d say I like to keep it fairly natural and the colours true to what they are but I do like to play around with different presets. I love trying to emulate film.
